- Operating theatre in an accredited healthcare facility, with full monitoring.
- Implants or implantable material that is certified, with brand and model identified.
- Preoperative tests: blood work, electrocardiogram and, where appropriate, other imaging tests.
- Postoperative care: scheduled check-ups, suture removal and follow-up over several months.
- Compression garments, girdles or post-surgical bras where applicable.
Why "very cheap" is usually a red flag
Plastic surgery has fixed costs that cannot be cut without taking on risk. An accredited operating theatre, an anaesthesiologist, certified implants and a board-certified surgeon have a minimum price. When a clinic sells far below the market, it is usually economising on one of those points.
The usual cuts — which are almost never mentioned openly — are:
