What does the procedure involve?
Gynecomastia is the enlargement of the male breast caused by excess fat, glandular tissue or both. Surgery corrects this contour to restore a flatter, more defined and proportionate chest.
The technique may include liposuction, gland removal or a combination of both, depending on the predominant tissue and the elasticity of the skin.
When do we recommend it?
- Aesthetic discomfort when dressing or in social situations.
- Persistent volume that does not improve with exercise or weight loss.
- Chest asymmetry.
- Desire for a more defined masculine contour.
Not every gynecomastia is treated the same way
Before surgery we analyse whether the problem is fatty, glandular or mixed. That difference changes the technique and the type of result you can expect.
